WHM Travel Experience – Patagonia Adventures
Learn and Practice the Wim Hof Method in Patagonia in a small group. Tim van der Vliet takes you on a completely arranged Wim Hof Method Retreat in one of the most beautiful places in the world: Patagonia, San Martin, Argentina. Your sense of (inner) beauty, health, energy and happiness will get a leap forward.
This week is for delving deeper into the Method: practice with the cold extensively in nature and expand your breathing techniques as well as your commitment and focus. This extended experience is a great way to clear your mind of any clutter, get a fresh perspective on life and to just let go.
You will experience the WHM breathing exercises, mindset- and focus training and optional cold exposure on a daily basis to deepen into the mastering of your own practice!
We will add daily energy exercises, different breathing techniques, hot training (temazcal), meditation and deeper mindset training to the program. And of course a lot of joy. Daily outdoor activities will give you the perfect combination of a holiday and working on your personal development. The course will be given in English. All our knowledge will be shared and experienced.
Austral icy water streams
This is a highly transformational experience at the heart of gorgeous Argentinian Patagonia, which includes hiking and immersing in superb natural surroundings, while the chilly autumn paints colorful memorables views all around. The glacier rivers will invite us to jump into the deep blue cold water to unleash our neurotransmitters, happy hormones and thus our happiness.
It’s our goal to give you tools to positively influence your autoimmune system, improve your energy levels, get your body stronger and flexible and get more focus. This awareness improves the balance between body and mind. Every participant will receive various tools and techniques to help them with the journey afterwards.

Day 1: Arrival
Arrive at and leave from Bariloche airport
Arrive at Hotel
After dinner we will start the training, share the full program, start our experience and get to know each other.
Day 2: Ñivinco Waterfall
Excursion: Hike to the waterfalls of Ñivinco.
Today the subject is cold training. We will start our natural cold training in the waterfalls.
Day 3: Lahuen Co thermal hot springs
Excursion: We visit the oasis of Lahuen Co thermal hot springs surrounded by mountains.
Today is about Fire and Ice, the combination of hot and cold training.
Day 4: Mountain Chapelco Summit
Excursion: Summit to Mountain Chapelco
Discussion and Q/A, Breathwork on how to climb and Brown fat activation. Safety and equipment check. Last motivational talk on how to use focus and mindset to conquer the mountain inside.
Day 5: Kayaking with a dip
Excursion of today is still a surprise.
Today is about one on one coaching and specific help if you need it.
Day 6: Plaza San Martin
Excursion: We visit the Plaza San Martin. Artisan’s selling traditional handicrafts, jewellery and knitted wools.
Today is about how to maintain a growth mindset with the WHM after this week.
Day 7: Departure

Bus Leaves for airport arriving @ 10am
Say goodbye and leave for the airport.
There will be enough free time to look around, take pictures, nap, journal etc.

We are going to do different hikes, so you should be able to walk for a few hours in the mountains.

Bio Tim van der Vliet
Tim van der Vliet is a breathing coach, Wim Hof Method Instructor Level 2, author, runs his own investment fund and is a father of 5 children. Apart from a healthy lifestyle, he has learned how through light exercise, cold training and breathing properly helps him feel calmer, be healthier and cope with stress better. And even that he can influence his autoimmune system and alkalize his blood through his techniques. This comes in handy in his busy, but no stress, lifestyle.
Tim has been trained personally by the world-famous Wim Hof (aka ‘The Iceman’) whose techniques for mastering the mind-body connection are being studied by scientific institutions around the world.
