Tim van der Vliet is a breathing specialist and coach, a Wim Hof Method instructor, author and is a father of 5 children. Apart from a healthy lifestyle, he has learned how he can optimize his life both physically and mentally. His training helps him feel calmer, be healthier and cope with stress better. And even that he can influence his mind and body in such a way that he gets to live his life in the most optimal way. This comes in handy in his busy, but no stress, lifestyle.
Tim has been trained personally by the world famous Wim Hof (aka ‘The Iceman’) whose techniques for mastering the mind-body connection are being studied by scientific institutions around the world.
Tim’s training Optimize is often referred to as the “No BS Training”. Maybe, the only way to get the most out of your life, is getting rid of the BS.
Tim’s vision on life and the world
Tim van der Vliet is a qualified trainer in the Wim Hof Method and an experienced breathing coach asked to teach all over the world. In addition, he has 5 children. He leads a hectic life, but he also loves doing nothing at times. For him, it is a high priority to keep an empty agenda. His mantra: “busy but no stress”.
Being personally trained by the world famous Wim Hof (aka ‘The Iceman’) in techniques to master the mind-body connection, he is convinced that breathing properly, helps one to feel calmer, become healthier and to better cope with stress. A theory that is supported by scientific institutions around the world.
Tim’s overall goal is to optimize his body and mind so attain mental and physical freedom: “being able to do what you want whenever you want to”. His training is called Optimize and he describes it as a way to control your inner world, both mentally as physically, in only 10 minutes per day. And as he feels he is a forever student, his methods are constantly subject to new experiences and improvements, and are incorporated into his teachings.
